1. What we provide
Visibility puts a published set of questions to AI assistants on a schedule and reports which businesses those assistants named. That is the whole of the service.
2. What the measurements are, and are not
Everything we publish is a record of what a third-party AI system produced at a moment in time. It is not our opinion, not a rating, not an endorsement, and not a statement about the quality, competence or standing of any business.
A business appearing high in an answer has not been judged good by us. A business not appearing has not been judged bad by us. Where an assistant names a business, that is a fact about the assistant.
3. Why your own search may differ
Consumer AI products personalise on account history and location, and give different answers to the same question asked twice. We measure a logged-out, non-personalised baseline on purpose, because that is the only thing comparable across businesses.
So your own search will often not match ours, and neither is wrong. The methodology page explains this in full.
4. Accuracy and corrections
We take reasonable care, but AI assistants make mistakes and so can our reading of them. If you believe something published about your business is wrong, tell us and we will show you the stored answer it came from and correct or remove it if it is wrong.
5. No guarantee of results
Nothing we provide guarantees that an AI assistant will name your business, or name it more often. We do not control these systems and neither does anyone selling you a promise that they do.
6. Accounts
You need a work email at your own business domain to register. Do not register on behalf of a business you have no authority to represent, the paid views show competitive information intended for that business.
7. Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the paid month. The free tier is free permanently and requires no card.
8. Liability
We provide the service as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for business decisions taken on the basis of what we publish. These terms are governed by the law of Gibraltar.
